The individuals that constitute the colony are called zoids. They share the exhaling siphons, which are the biggers holes. The regular holes are all inhaling siphons, tied to one zoid.*

It's interesting to see a sponge on the top ([Hemimycale columella - Honeycomb sponge](Hemimycale%20columella%20-%20Honeycomb%20sponge.md)), it reminds us how closely looking synacidiae are from sponges. But here, no confusion, there's no sponges that are that translucid. That translucid aspect looks just like [Clavelina dellavallei - Bluestriped light bulb tunicate](Clavelina%20dellavallei%20-%20Bluestriped%20light%20bulb%20tunicate.md), solitary ascidiacea.*
